INDIRA GANDHI SCIENCE COMPLEX PLANETARIUM |

The IGSC-planetarium or popularly known as Taramandal was Constructed at a cost
of rs.11 crore became operational in 1992. It was established with focal adjective
to create awareness about astronomical Science and provide opportunity among the
school children and rural man of Bihar. The planetarium is equipped with Astro-vision
projection system, which was the first of its kind at the time in India, it has
sitting capacity of 276 people. Besides, the planetarium Complex has a fully air-conditioned
auditorium with latest facilities of light and sound including multimedia and projection
system which has sitting capacity of 224 people. |
